Principal & Founder
With over ten years' experience in retained executive search, Jim MacNee founded Maitland Partners Executive Search—a premier retained executive search firm serving clients nationwide. Having made executive placements in most functional disciplines in the medical device, hospitality, distribution, gaming, technology, manufacturing, financial services, tribal and aerospace industries, Jim is particularly adept at understanding the cultural needs of his clients and identifying the best-qualified candidates to lead their organizations.
Prior to founding Maitland Partners Jim was President of Manchester Plastics, a manufacturer of extruded sheet products; General Manager of Bear Medical Systems, an international medical device company that designed, manufactured and distributed adult and infant critical care ventilators; and Vice President, Human Resources and Corporate Officer for Allied Healthcare Products, Inc. Jim started his career working for Chrysler Corporation in HR / labor relations.
Jim has an undergraduate degree in psychology from Albion College and earned a graduate degree from Washington University in St. Louis. He has taught Organizational Development for the University of Phoenix MBA Program and speaks on Leadership, Job Search Skills, Social Media & Change Management at conferences nationwide.
Jim has served as the PIHRA District 11 Careers Chair and has been involved in SHRM since the late 1980’s.
With one daughter a Legislative Assistant working in the California State Assembly, another a recent graduate of the University of Redlands and currently working for the Riverside YMCA, and a son who is a sophomore at the University of Redlands, Jim and his wife stay very busy.

Kathy is a seasoned Organizational Development professional with a particular expertise in
transformational leadership. Utilizing her management skills that were perfected with PhD studies in Organizational Leadership and an MBA, Kathy has a superior skill sets in assessing talent, executive coaching and succession planning. Her Attention to detail, ability to analyze situations, project resources and meet goals is evident through her highly developed interpersonal relations and communication skills.
Kathy has served as Vice President, Human resources for Aptera Motors leading the Human Resources function for this exciting start-up organization. As Director, Human Resources for Independent Energy Solutions, she leads transformational activities to deliver performance, structure and results. In her previous role as General Manager of a multimillion dollar global manufacturer in California, Kathy was instrumental in leading continuous improvement activity resulting in sustainable and repeatable operations. She was Lead Team Trainer for “Accountability Models for Team Leaders” and successfully managed a highly unionized environment. Also the former Corporate Director of Human Resources, she was responsible for every aspect of Human Resource Management, Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance for the large international manufacturer.
Originally from Utah, Kathy now calls California home. Kathy MacDougall supports the belief that “it is about the journey, not the destination.” She leads an active life which includes sailing, rock climbing and other outdoor sports and has been both a private pilot and sky diver.

Stephanie comes to Maitland Partners Executive Search with a breadth of experienceacross
Human Resources functions including Human Resource Management and Executive Recruiting.
Stephanie spent 5+ years as a Senior Manager with Yahoo managing large staffing teams across locations as well as Talent Acquisition, University Relations and Communications programs. Her passion is finding the right talent at the right time to maximize organizational effectiveness and profits for your company. Stephanie's background also includes Senior Staffing roles for Intuit and other hi-tech consumer facing companies. She started her career in Market Research so she brings an analytical perspective to each and every search.
In Stephanie's spare time, she's a proud Mom and a meditation teacher. She has spent time as a Hospital Chaplain and teaching meditation to at risk youth, leading Mind Body Stress Reduction courses in hospital and corporate settings, Meditation Retreats, and she leads a weekly meditation group in her home of Toledo, OH.
